Such individuals form the right visions, set relevant goals, work hard, achieve positive results and have a desire to share them, because they know that success is only possible when you share. For almost 25 years, BPN has been uniting successful Swiss businesses around this idea, which contributes to the well-being of others through their activities.
The joy of sharing is also at the heart of the history of the founding of BPN. After a successful engineering career, businessman and artist Jürg Oprecht took over the management of a five-star hotel in the village of Lenk in the Swiss Alps and developed the gastronomy business until the end of his life (2021). He accumulated a lot of experience, success stories and a desire to share them. Thus, the BPN Foundation was founded, the goal and mission of which was to help start-up and already established businesses. Help meant sharing knowledge and experience, motivating and supporting entrepreneurs.
The Oprecht family was not alone in its charitable work. Many successful businessmen willing to help joined the initiative, and for almost 25 years, BPN has been adding new sponsors every year.
For this common purpose, the Oprecht family, sponsors, and individuals simply interested in the Foundation's activities and future cooperation gathered on September 9-10 at the annual event organized by the Foundation.
Among the important topics, the issue of Georgia and the representation of the Georgian branch in Switzerland attracted particular interest at the annual event organized by the Hotel Lenkerhof, where, after discussing the current situation and business environment in Georgia and engaging in live discussions with Georgian entrepreneurs, guests and potential and existing sponsors formed a positive impression of Georgia and the specificity and necessity of BPN Georgia’s activities in Georgia. Many new guests expressed their desire for support, which once again emphasizes the readiness of successful Swiss businesses to help Georgian businesses succeed.
The development of enterprises in the Georgian business environment is particularly important, and in the development process, establishing the right visions, setting the right priorities, leading by the right examples, and adopting the right approaches accumulated in business will create even more guarantees for the economic well-being of the country and the population, and in this, the role of BPN and all the people united around these ideas is particularly appreciated.
