Georgian dance is more than just dance for her, it is her world, her happiness, which she has been sharing with others with great love for over 20 years.
Melita Lomadze, a professional choreographer, is the founder of Melita Dance Studio and the Melitassy Ensemble, and is still actively involved not only in management, but also in teaching.
Georgian dance, along with the Georgian language and polyphonic singing, is a part of our identity, and preserving it and passing it on to future generations is undoubtedly a responsible and proud task, especially if we are talking about taking it beyond our borders. Dance is an integral part of our culture and history, which, as they say, is in the blood of every Georgian. That is why it is gratifying that interest in Georgian dance is growing every day worldwide. Melita is truly someone who has made a great contribution to bringing our culture to different countries around the world.
“My goal is to introduce and make as many people as possible fall in love with Georgian dance all over the world,” says Melita Lomadze, and she is truly succeeding in this. In addition to offering master classes to foreigners visiting Georgia in her studio, interested people from different parts of the world also join her and learn the unique movements of Georgian dance online. In addition, Melita has already visited many countries and conducted master classes on Georgian dance for both immigrants and representatives of these countries. It is a proud fact that in Japan there is an ensemble called “Sapphire”, who are Melita’s “students” and wholeheartedly perform Georgian dances at festivals and various concerts.
On a hot summer evening, BPN Georgia also visited Melita Dance Studio .

Despite her busy schedule, Melita has been a participant in the BPN Georgia program for several years and is constantly developing in terms of business management.
As you know, necessary and interesting connections play a big role in business and not only. Often, along with other important factors, our contact list determines our success. That is why It is very important to devote adequate time and attention to the so-called "networking". Statistics Ukraine, Those who give proper attention to “networking” grow 42%-47% faster than those who do not recognize the importance of “networking.”
This process is even more fruitful and enjoyable in an informal environment... Interesting conversations accompanied by a glass of wine, and the amazing Melita's Georgian dance master class became the best way to relax and at the same time a source of energy. For other participants of the BPN Georgia program, who made interesting contacts and felt the power and energy of Georgian dance in a short time...
Thank you very much, Melita, warmly. For hosting and all the BPN Georgia people who were part of this evening!
Who will be next? Who will we visit next time BPN Georgia?! 😊
