The Business Professionals Network (BPN) is a Swiss non-profit organization founded in 1999 by entrepreneur Jürg Oprecht.
The organization's goal is to promote sustainable job creation, which in turn will enable economic development and poverty alleviation. BPN supports small and medium-sized enterprises with the potential and desire to grow and develop, which can make a significant contribution to the country's economic progress.
BPN currently operates in Kyrgyzstan, Nicaragua, Rwanda, Uganda, Mongolia, and Georgia with an entrepreneurship support program.
We act fairly, carefully, and transparently. This creates the foundation for trustful and successful cooperation.
We listen, ask questions, inspire, teach, and think with entrepreneurs. In this way, we support them in their progress.
We act proactively, build relationships, and strive for success together.
We support and encourage people to step out of their comfort zones, look at problems from a different perspective, and try new things. This way, we are constantly learning and evolving.
The BPN Georgia Foundation was established in 2016.
Our goal is to create opportunities and strong entrepreneurship in countries with economic potential. This will benefit the entrepreneurs themselves, their families, employees, the entire society and the country. We want to support development-oriented small and medium-sized businesses and equip them with the skills that will ensure their success.
Our work should be productive and valuable. "Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime. Help a man set up a fishing business and you feed his workforce and their families."
Since the beginning of the program
Megi Maisuradze Since 2016, he has been leading the SME Development Department at BPN Georgia. Since 2022, he has been the Head of the BPN Georgia Branch. His career portfolio includes many years of experience in tourism, general management, strategic planning, crisis management, and public relations.
Megi Maisuradze He holds a Master's degree in German Studies and was educated at Tbilisi State University and Innsbruck University (Austria). He has successfully completed certified training courses in Business Management (GIPA), Marketing (CU), Project Management (Headvice Academy), Accounting (GFPAA), Hotel Management, Strategic Branding, and Business Coaching. He has completed a number of other certified programs in business and financial management.
Competence Area
Megi Maisuradze He is actively involved in the strategic management process of BPN Georgia, as well as leading individual coaching sessions and various business seminars with representatives of small and medium-sized businesses. He also actively participates in negotiations with partner organizations and customer relations.
Ana Aivazishvili, who received an education in business administration and marketing. Ana is also the co-founder of the company “SiSters Wine”. Ana joined the BPN Georgia team in 2017. She has been working in the field of sales and marketing for 10 years. Her area of activity in various positions included market research, packaging and adding new products/services, negotiating, cooperating with advertising companies, planning and implementing advertising campaigns. Ana has 7 years of experience in digital media marketing. In addition, she is a BPN Georgia trainer in digital media marketing. Her seminar portfolio consists of seminars: Facebook ads and social media marketing.
Competence Area
Currently, Anna manages BPN Georgia's social media, plans and implements various online activities. She is also actively involved in providing social media consultations and sharing her experience with interested parties.
Elene Martkoplishvili He joined the BPN Georgia team in 2022. He currently holds the position of Operations Support Officer and is actively involved in daily operational activities in various directions.
Elene holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Ilia State University and is currently a Master's student at Tbilisi State University in Organizational Development and Consulting.
Elene's work experience includes sales in the banking sector, customer relations, and digital marketing.
Area of competence:
Currently, Elene is involved in the effective implementation of the entrepreneur selection process for the BPN Georgia program, organizing various business meetings and events, resolving administrative issues, and managing social networks.
Nia Dvali joined the BPN Georgia team in 2025.
Currently, he holds the position of Business Academy Coordinator and is responsible for organizing seminars.
He received his bachelor's degree from Caucasus University in English Philology and Translation Theory.
Nia has the privilege of working for various international organizations.
Area of competence:
Chris Langenegger joined BPN Georgia in 2025 as Director. His career portfolio includes many years of experience in international leadership positions in sales, customer service, finance and business consulting.
Chris holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (University of St. Gallen, Switzerland) and a Master's degree in International Management (FIA Business School, São Paulo, Brazil).
Working languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese.
Area of competence:
Chris Langenegger actively participates in the strategic development of BPN Georgia, manages the local team, provides individual consultations and coaching to Georgian entrepreneurs, participates in trainings, and also works to deepen relations with partner organizations and strengthen other important areas.
