Instead of falling into despair, Zaza searched for soap recipes that cured his son's rash. After several months of efforts, this process turned into a family business, in which each family member is equally involved. Even when the pandemic forced the family to move to the village, the family began to grow plants and medicinal herbs in their own garden.
In addition to producing natural handmade soaps and body care products, the company also sells all the tools needed for soap making. Zaza shares her knowledge with others through training courses. To attract more customers, she is also working on new distribution channels and creating a soap making guide.
My story

One of my children had a very severe rash on his face as a teenager, I spent months collecting information on how soap was made and even tried different methods and tools to see the results quickly. In the end, I was able to achieve the desired result and cured my child's skin. This result gave me great motivation, I continued working on soaps and, thanks to my enthusiasm, I involved all my family members in this process. From production to marketing, they helped me with everything.
The pandemic period was very difficult for our family, we had to temporarily move to the village. It was during such challenges that I learned that there is always a solution to any problem. I continued to conduct experiments and plant plants in the village, and when I returned to the city, I founded the first soap-making course in Georgia.
Before I learned about BPN Georgia, my company was like a boat that was drifting with the current. I was running my business very intuitively and on an amateur level. Through seminars and individual coaching, I learned how to steer the boat the way I wanted.
Now I am developing purposefully and looking at my business ideas more realistically. At this stage, I am working on new products, trying to expand into additional distribution channels, such as collaborations with hotels, pharmacies and spa centers. I also plan to open an exhibition space.

What do you like most about your work?
I am very happy to create such a natural, healthy, luxurious product that can benefit many people. In addition, I really like creativity and innovation.

How have you changed your environment through your actions?
With the help of soap courses, I support the development of the Georgian cosmetics industry. In addition, I am very happy that my soaps have helped many people overcome skin problems.
What difficulties are you facing?
Sometimes it is very difficult to find raw materials on the market. If I run out of materials, the production of my product is at risk. Then I am forced to replace this material with another ingredient. This is a very laborious process that requires a lot of time, research and experimentation, however, in the end everything has a positive effect on the product and sometimes it even leads to the discovery of a new soap recipe.
What advice would you give to other entrepreneurs?
Love what you do and don't be afraid of obstacles!
