Social Media Marketing in 2021

      Business strategist Michael Porter says: “The Internet is a powerful tool that can be used wisely or unwisely in virtually any field and in all strategies. In order for companies to remain competitive, they must implement Internet technologies and e-marketing in their strategies and tactics.” The need for Internet technologies and the need to actively use them was made even more clear by the situation caused by the Covid pandemic, as a large part of sales is made by online sales. Compared to the previous year, in 2021, there was even more activity on all social network platforms. Even companies that had previously clearly stated that online sales were unrealistic for their business, because the consumer must definitely get acquainted with the product on the spot, appeared in the online space. BPN Georgia program participants, like last year, actively benefited from business consultations/advice this year - in terms of social media marketing. The priority topics for them included the following issues:
• Which social network was relevant to their business;
• Did they need to rebrand their business?
• How to plan and conduct marketing research;
• Who was their potential audience and how to communicate with them;
• Which advertising tool was effective for their business, both in the traditional and digital worlds;
• How to contact Facebook and Google Support.
