Representatives of the Swiss Foundation (BPN) visited BPN Georgia . The purpose of the visit was to familiarize themselves with the situation on the ground, gain a better understanding of BPN Georgia's daily work processes, share Swiss experience with the local team , and visit active participants in the program.
The visit of organization representatives, sponsors, and experts from various fields from Switzerland is a component of BPN Georgia's long-term business promotion program .
During the visit, the guests: Ms. Benzli Oprecht, co-founder of the foundation, BPN (Business Professionals Union) Executive Director Willi Helbling, and Fundraising and Events Manager Carolyn Fluke heard from the local team of BPN Georgia about the achievements and challenges that the organization faces on a daily basis.
During the visit, the Swiss and Georgian representatives of BPN once again discussed the importance of the values that underpin the foundation's operations. The conversation also touched on the goals for the coming year, and plans and strategic steps to achieve these goals were formulated.
BPN Georgia guests also visited local entrepreneurs. They visited the family-owned soap factory Atelier , the jewelry company Tsvara , and the aesthetics center Courage Royal Beauty . The founders and managers of these companies introduced their products and services to the Swiss guests on site, shared information about the current situation, problems, and successes, and once again expressed their opinion on cooperation with BPN Georgia and the advantages that they receive from both local and Swiss experts within the framework of the long-term program. The visit of representatives of the BPN Swiss office, the recommendations received from them, and their opinions on their own business are valuable and often a source of great motivation for Georgian entrepreneurs.
As part of the visit, the organization’s guests also attended the year-end event organized by the BPN Georgia Business Association , where they had the opportunity to meet dozens of small and medium-sized business representatives who have been cooperating with BPN Georgia for years and receive all the services provided by the program, which helps them manage their activities even more effectively. This meeting was a good opportunity for information exchange, which was served by a question-and-answer discussion, where the co-founder of the foundation, owner of the Lenkerhof Hotel and Director of the Supervisory Board, Ms. Benzli Oprecht, shared with the audience inside information about managing her own hotel, how the hotel management copes with, for example, the problem of staff turnover, how it manages to attract new customers and keep them as regular and loyal customers, what the competitive advantage of a 5-star hotel is, and more.
The Swiss representatives of the foundation were very impressed by the event, seeing how many entrepreneurs BPN Georgia managed to unite in a short period of time. This meeting and visit from Switzerland was yet another confirmation that BPN's activities in Georgia truly serve the foundation's main mission - to support local small and medium-sized businesses and strengthen the economic environment in the country.
