The past difficult year has once again shown us how important partnerships between various types of international and financial institutions are in order to jointly support Georgian small and medium-sized entrepreneurs in overcoming difficulties.
Since March 2021, the Foundation has been actively seeking new partners and program participants. To this end, we have intensified meetings and business relations with financial institutions, as well as various business associations, international foundations, and donor organizations.
BPN Georgia and VTB Bank have signed a Memorandum of Understanding, under which at least 5 business clients of VTB Bank will become participants of the BPN Georgia program per year, where they will be given the opportunity to deepen their business education and develop their business with the help of local and international experts and a program developed by the Foundation.
In September 2021, the foundation was laid for the cooperation between BPN Georgia and the EU project SPARK. Within the framework of this partnership, participants selected by the SPARK project will attend webinars organized by BPN Georgia. They also have the opportunity to receive business advice from a Swiss-based expert from BPN Georgia on various interesting or problematic issues for them. The invited international experts will actively continue to conduct online seminars on topical business topics in 2021, where members of the German Economic Association (Deutsche Wirtschaftvereinigung) have the opportunity to attend and receive useful advice.
The Foundation continues to negotiate with financial institutions and international organizations, as a result of which we will continue to offer interesting discussions and events to small and medium-sized businesses in the future.
