Ms. Dali is a Germanist by profession, and for many years she shared her knowledge and experience with new generations at the Georgian Technical University. With her hard work, professionalism, and love of order, she has become a role model for many. Dealing with challenges, working hard, and seeking new things are her usual state. A few years ago, she moved from the capital to the Martvili district and took on a new challenge – turning her family home into a favorite family hotel for Georgian and foreign guests, Dali's Guest House .
- How did your business story begin, what motivated you?
City life is becoming more and more chaotic and tiring every day, and the demand for rest in a calm and healthy environment is growing. Relaxing with family and friends, spending time in the fresh air, in a beautiful environment, and discovering interesting places are an integral part of a healthy life. That is why I decided to provide Georgian and foreign guests with the opportunity to relax in exactly such an environment at our family's house, which is just a few minutes away from Martvili Canyon. The number of visitors to the canyon and the number of people wishing to spend the night was quite high at the beginning of our work, although there were fewer opportunities for this in its vicinity. All this gave me and my family the impetus to combine useful and pleasant things for each other and to open our doors not only to acquaintances and friends, but also to strangers and give them the opportunity to enjoy the chirping of birds in an environment surrounded by greenery and flowers…
- The path from the beginning to the present, expectations and reality…
If this path were associated with a lot of work, I knew that getting things up and running would require large investments – even so, although I still thought everything was relatively simple, even if it was about personnel or a number of other business-related issues. In reality, we have to deal with more challenges than we expected and it all takes more time, although the process is pleasant. A satisfied and happy guest, a new customer who comes on a recommendation, this is our reality, which requires daily care, constant development, and selfless work to maintain.
- What do you offer to customers?
Our guests have the opportunity to relax, unwind, taste delicious dishes, and enjoy Georgian hospitality in a peaceful, cozy, and healthy environment. The convenient location allows vacationers to discover numerous historical landmarks, enjoy natural monuments, and return to everyday life with renewed energy.
- Why your product/service? What makes you unique?
Along with comfortable rooms, guests are greeted by a large green space, where they can enjoy both peace and active recreation, such as playing basketball with friends, cooling off in the river in the heat, exploring the Martvili Canyon on foot, and discovering many other attractions in the surrounding area. We have heard from many guests that they felt at home – this is the main thing for us, for the guest to feel calm, comfortable, and at the same time at home.
- What does it mean to you to be in business? Why this business in particular, what do you like about this field?
It is a very interesting field, with its many challenges, like probably other areas of business. We have to deal with many obstacles, but at the same time it is a constant development, a creative process and, most importantly, a great opportunity to meet new people of different nationalities with all their characters and stories. After all, relationships with people are the greatest wealth…
- What is your energy source?
My character, my inner state – to be constantly in motion, in the process of searching and creating something new. I wake up every morning at 6 am full of motivation, I don't need external factors to find energy within myself.
- What would you advise the young "me"?
Perhaps I would still be “me”. I like and love my life. I would still follow the path I took. Study, work hard, don't spare yourself, use every opportunity – I would tell this to the young “me” and to others around me.
- What is the first thing that comes to mind when you hear BPN Georgia?
I remember: a number of interesting seminars that were very useful to me in practice, interesting, valuable and necessary contacts that I made at various BPN Georgia meetings, these relationships continue to this day and are very precious to me. I constantly remember the BPN Georgia team, meetings with them, sharing information and advice that I receive and take into account in my work.
