It is probably difficult to come up with any business idea against the backdrop of a struggle for survival in exile from Abkhazia, but David retained only his fighting spirit and strong will from these difficult years, leaving behind negative memories and laying the foundation for a new business – the buffet company "Delicato".
19 years ago, this direction of food was a real innovation in the Georgian reality, and the competition was weak. Therefore, Delikato made a great contribution to the formation of an unconventional approach to food in traditional Georgian society, which meant a combination of fast, healthy, tasty and aesthetic aspects of food accompanied by full organizational and service components.
From the very first day, continuous quality assurance and accessibility became the reason for Delikato's growing success. Soon, new stumbling blocks appeared on the way in the form of competitors, but constant care for customer friendliness and satisfaction, proper analysis of their needs, and the addition of new services and products became the company's competitive advantage. Meanwhile, life was preparing a new obstacle - the pandemic. The challenge, which hit catering establishments the hardest, Delikato overcame with reasonable steps, proper allocation of reserves, and deepening of sectoral knowledge. The experience stones were also accumulated enough to implement a new business idea: thus, in March 2024, the cafe "Delicato" was born, where, pampered in an extremely cozy and sophisticated environment, with dishes prepared by a local chef and service from employees focused on customer satisfaction, you will definitely have a desire to repeat this positive emotion.
David is confident that the cafe, like all his ventures, will be a great success, as it is based on many years of experience, proper crisis management, thorough customer research, creative ideas, and a dedicated team.
