The business magazine for women called "Ladies Drive" is published four times a year in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland and tells the story of women who have a lot to say.
In the 2021 edition, we will meet Dea Tavberidze, who has been a participant in the BPN program since 2021. We are pleased to have this strong Georgian woman in this edition and wish her professional success.

Her profession is to give happiness. With her motivational blogs, she gives people hope and support. Journalist Dea Tavberidze did not leave publishing to go into business of her own free will. Today, she encourages 90,000 people with positive thoughts through her personal online portal. Doing good helps her find happiness and a career path, and she creates her own happiness by making others happy.

Ladies Drive: Dea, what inspired you to start an online magazine?
I am a motivator by nature. I love to encourage people. I spread positivity through my online magazine. Jolo.ge is changing people's lives for the better in Georgia. This makes me happy.
Ladies Drive: How was this idea born?
In 2012, I lost my job due to a change in government. At the time, I was working for a successful newspaper. Cultural topics suddenly became uninteresting and I had to write only about politics, which prompted me to leave my position as a journalist and establish my own online portal.
Ladies Drive: It must have been a bold decision. How did you overcome your fear of change by going from journalism to freelance work?
It was not and is not easy to run your own business. I was a journalist and had no business experience. Since I love my current work very much, I overcame the difficulties that arose at the initial stage step by step, in which the positive feedback from readers helped me a lot.
Ladies Drive: How did you acquire business knowledge?
Knowledge is needed for professional growth. BPN Georgia was a great discovery for me in this direction. This is the Georgian branch of a Swiss foundation that helps businesses develop. I attended almost every seminar or event organized by this company and learned how to write a business plan , which helped me refine my business vision and make it tangible, so I am very grateful to this organization and the staff working in it.
Ladies Drive: What does being a businesswoman mean to you?
This is tireless hard work, constant development, the search for innovations, overcoming obstacles, fighting, not giving up, success, sometimes falling, but getting back on your feet and moving towards a specific goal. Every success story is a new push for me. There are many success stories around. The main thing is that we see them and be able to read the necessary messages behind them.
Ladies Drive: What does being a role model mean to you?
I am happy when I see happy people. I enjoy hearing that people have gained self-confidence and the ability to see their own strength because of raspberries. If we learn to set goals, everything in life will turn out positively. I am happy that through my work I can change the lives of others for the better.
Ladies Drive: Do you love your job?
Do I love it? I'm crazy! My children are often jealous. They even call my business my "third child." I am proud and happy when I receive messages of gratitude from my readers every day. They write to me that I have changed their lives, that I have motivated them to fulfill their dreams, and that I have improved their relationships. When I face problems, I always think of the readers of Jolo, which cheers me up and makes me smile.
Ladies Drive: What excites your readers about your work?
I always hear positive information through Jolo.ge. Many people write to me that they start their day by reading Jolo, so that they can start their day with a positive attitude and energy.
Ladies Drive: How do you write your interviews?
I am an artist. Every interview is a creative and meditative process. I travel with people to a world they did not know before. With my questions, respondents often discover a lot of new things about themselves. In the process of writing, I enrich their expressions, bring their positive qualities and activities to the forefront. Success stories of “normal” people are especially important to me. They set an example for others to take a bold step and achieve success. In addition, I am busy discovering interesting people and introducing them to the public. As for my subscribers, everyone finds what they are looking for in Zholo: hope, motivation, a way out of problems.
Ladies Drive: What is your professional dream?
I want Zolo to be more successful and make many readers happy. I want to establish a motivational training center with experts in the field. I dream of a studio where a motivational show, a fitness studio for training and a meeting club will be located. I have many other dreams related to Zolo. For example, interviews with successful famous people such as Warren Buffett, Elon Musk, Tony Robbins, Oprah Winfrey, Joe Dispenza, Alex Yanovsky and others.
Ladies Drive: How has the pandemic affected you, your business, and the people you work for?
The pandemic has affected everyone and left a bad mark on many areas. For my business, which is only present in the online space, it has not had a bad effect. On the contrary, the pandemic has given small businesses like mine the chance to make changes, grow, try new things, deal with challenges, discover new opportunities and implement a digital business model. I took advantage of this chance, not everyone could. My flexible nature and ability to quickly adapt to the new reality helped me find the best opportunities in this situation.
Ladies Drive: What are your future plans?
The speeches of our trainers and psychologists are mainly focused on personal growth and development. In the future, I want to expand my business, which is why I created a new website YourBusiness.ge. The target audience will be the business community, which is interested in business topics. Within the framework of this project, I will introduce subscribers to many already successful business founders, with whom I collaborate and who will share their experience. This website will also provide an opportunity for businesses involved in the field of art to present themselves and their products, thereby indirectly helping them in the development of their activities.
Ladies Drive: Now why has this become so important?
The recent period has been a challenge for everyone. It is not easy to cope with the new reality created by the pandemic. These offers will free my customers from negative emotions and charge them with positive energy, which is especially necessary in such conditions.
Ladies Drive: Do you have a formula for success, how to continue to work positively after a personal or economic crisis?
Everyone experiences a crisis at least once in their personal and professional lives. I was no exception. Getting up after every fall, continuing to move forward, and looking to the future helped me get to where I am today. Nothing can stop me on my path to my goal. We must not forget that every uphill climb is followed by a downhill one. If we believe in our goal and show respect and love to the people around us, we will easily overcome obstacles and become stronger.
