Besides being an entrepreneur, what else could you tell us about yourself?
I am Gocha Bukvaidze. My occupation is tourism. I am originally from Tushi and I know the history, customs, and traditions of my region well. In Tusheti, in the village of Shenako, I have a family hotel, where we are happy to host guests from all over the world. Since 2011, I have also been conducting tours of Tusheti and introducing my beautiful region to many people.
Why this business? Why this business?
The field of tourism allows me to introduce my region, with its rich history and traditions, to people in depth. The first books I read as a child (excluding fairy tales) were about the history of Georgia. It is very pleasant for me when I introduce a tourist to the history, culture, and traditions of my region. I also love nature and my work is precisely because it is combined with it. My business allows me to relax in the off-season, plan the next season, study marketing-related news, and face the new season and our guests with new strength, energy, and ideas.
What is the main benefit that your product/service provides to the customer?
In today's stressful life, the need for relaxation has become even more important. Travel is the best way to unwind, change, learn, and meet new people. Traveling with Tours in Tusheti is the best combination of all of these.
What is the formula for business success for you? Although my work mainly includes group tours, my goal is to serve each customer as an individual. The tour is cognitive and I try to exceed the expectations of the guest and satisfy his desires as much as possible. Travel creates positive memories, emotions, which is my main goal. This motivates me to fully invest my mental and physical resources in my business.
What is the biggest challenge that you have turned into an opportunity? What did this particular incident teach you?
At the beginning of my career, Tusheti was a little-known area in terms of domestic tourism. Very few people had visited this area, and some of them didn’t even know in which part of Georgia this beautiful area was located. On the one hand, this was a challenge, but I also saw potential here and thought about making my area known to the citizens of Georgia.
At the same time, it must be said that Tusheti was already quite well known to foreign tourists. Competition can also be perceived as a challenge at first glance, however, analyzing direct and indirect competitors, studying their weaknesses, helped me improve my service.

What gives you strength and energy for your daily activities?
A satisfied customer is my source of energy, a calm business environment. Also the fact that the business is completely mine and its success depends on me. This gives me an incentive and does not allow me to relax, to make my work better and better, to offer more diverse and improved services to my guests.
The main reason why BPN Georgia?
BPN Georgia is a caring, task-oriented, highly responsible team and family. There is always a pleasant environment here for learning, meeting new people, and sharing experiences. Exchanging information with experienced or novice businesspeople gives rise to new ideas. Ideas are the main source of motivation…
If BPN Georgia were a person, what would it be like?
BPN Georgia, as a person, is a calm, intelligent, intelligent person with real practical knowledge, ideas, vision, diversity...

Based on your experience, what advice would you give to entrepreneurs?
Be human, natural, sincere. Treat your business responsibly, as if it were a family member. Show more attention, consideration. Don't look at the customer as a unit of money and always imagine yourself in their place.
Do you think the customer is king or you?
There is complete democracy in my business. I provide the customer with exactly the service I promise, what I offer in the advertisement. This creates trust, which is pleasant for both parties. I take into account both the advice and comments received from the customer and implement them in practice.
Past, present or future?
My ideal is to be future-oriented. Past experiences, mistakes, or successes help me plan for the future better, so that I can turn it into a better present.
