I was born and raised in Khulo Municipality, Khulo is everything to me. Since childhood, along with studying, like almost all children of the 90s, I had to be involved in agricultural activities and help my family. This taught me even better how to clearly set goals and look for opportunities to achieve them. As a child, having difficulty reading books, I often lost livestock taken to pasture for grazing…
In addition to my main job, I like to relax with physical labor when I'm mentally tired... Today, I still lead the family's agricultural activities - we plant potatoes and corn, tend to vegetable gardens and fruit trees, and mow the lawns to feed the livestock for the winter...
In my free time, I like to talk to my children about various topics...
Why this business?
Ajara is a beautiful part of Georgia, and the coastal city of Batumi is a rapidly growing tourist destination in recent years, which is visited by many tourists and visitors from year to year. The Ajara Highlands deserve special mention, which is distinguished by its historical, cultural, and natural conditions. Hospitality in Khulo is characterized by historical features - "A guest is from God", many traditions have been preserved, and this is a great treasure. Along with the natural conditions of Khulo, the increased interest in local traditions, the presence of traditional delicious cuisine, and the strategic location of our land plot (it is easy to move from our hotel to all the valleys of the municipality, as well as to neighboring municipalities) made us decide to build a small, modest and modern-standard hotel - Khulo Inn and host guests of the mountainous Ajara. This gives us the opportunity to introduce the history and culture of Khulo and the mountainous Ajara in general to interested people...
What is the main benefit that your product/service provides to the customer?
We were the first to offer our customers a hotel service in the Khulo village that meets modern standards and is focused on the best service. With us, modernity and tradition blend together, and at the same time, we improve our service on a daily basis in accordance with the needs of our guests. I think this factor is the reason why in a short time we have already had many satisfied guests from many European Union countries, Great Britain, and the United States. Our goal is to provide our guests with maximum information about the history, culture, local traditions, and other opportunities of interest to them, along with a comfortable environment. We have also successfully hosted mini-conferences and seminars planned by several governmental and non-governmental organizations. The Khulo Inn Hotel also offers a seminar space to interested customers.

What is the biggest challenge that you have turned into an opportunity? What did this particular incident teach you?
During the process of setting up our business, we encountered unexpected resistance from one of the organizations, which put the implementation of our business at risk. However, despite vainly expecting some help from others, we finally achieved our goal by strictly following the rules established by law and our business took off…
After this particular incident, I saw once again that: you need to properly assess everything in advance, determine the risks, rely only on your knowledge and abilities, and everything will be fine!
What gives you strength and energy for your daily activities?
I believe that my specific activities and their results do not belong only to me – they serve to strengthen my homeland, and I want to be an example to others of how easily it is possible to love your nation and country and contribute to the development of your region and country.

The main thing in business is constant search, constant work. Proper business planning is a solid foundation for its further success. SWOT analysis and proper preparation of a business plan determine the sustainability of your business in the future and timely adaptation to possible deviations.
Do you think the customer is king or you?
The customer is always the king, with his needs and demands. However, there is a limit in business when it is necessary to remind the king, through positive communication and with partial cover, that at this moment he is in our domain, where, like anywhere else, pre-written general rules of conduct apply and these rules must be respected.

I think past experience is important in business, the present shows our ideal, or close to it, behavior at a specific point in time, which determines the future of our business.
