For many years, Nino has worked in various positions as a translator and lecturer. Her great passion is teaching English through interactive teaching methods. Nino's goal is for children to learn a new language through play. That's how, a few years ago, Nino began teaching private students in her free time. Initially in her living room. At the same time, she never lost the desire to turn her hobby into a profession and establish an innovative language school in her hometown of Gori, corresponding to her ideas.
In July 2018, Nino attended a business plan seminar organized by BPN in Gori. Here, she quickly realized that a good idea alone is not enough for a successful business and that the step towards independence must be carefully thought out and, above all, properly planned.
So Nino began to write down her ideas in a business plan. Writing it down forced her to analyze her own ideas diligently. To do this, the business plan offered her a convenient structure for thinking about real customer needs and the desired position in the market, defining products and services at an early stage, as well as understanding opportunities and risks. With the help of the financial plan, Nino took the first critical look at the economic feasibility of her project. With each subsequent chapter, her ideas became more concrete and tangible.
Writing down the idea allowed Nino to receive detailed feedback from BPN experts and continuously improve the business plan for the “Innovative Academy of Languages” .
In addition, the completed business plan brought an unexpected boost in motivation: with a clearly defined vision and goals, Nino converted her rented apartment directly into two classrooms and was able to mobilize three part-time teachers to adequately handle the rapidly growing student population.
By the end of 2020, Nino was teaching 85 students, and her team included four full-time and four part-time teachers. Thanks to the rapid transition to online mode, the “Innovative Academy of Languages” was able to continue teaching and retain students during this difficult year, full of challenges caused by the pandemic.
