When we see a successful person or a successful business, many of us often think that luck is behind this success, that this person was simply lucky. If we call luck the fact that we were in the right place at the right time, we were given an opportunity and we did not miss it, then yes, this is also an important factor on the path to success. However, even if luck hits us, if we leave our work to fate alone and do not take into account other factors that determine success, the excuse may seem like a flash in the pan and our success may turn out to be temporary.

We all probably understand success differently. For some, it is associated with high turnover and profits, for many, it is recognition. For some, success means giving others the opportunity to express and develop their own resources, while for many, success is about enjoying work.

In reality, success is probably a combination of all of these and is distributed in different proportions depending on the values and goals of individual individuals and businesses. However, if you ask me, loving what you do is the solid foundation on which long-term success should be built. If we do not spare ourselves, do not waste our time and energy, if we are oriented towards development, quality and innovation, if we constantly take into account the needs and interests of the user, if we find a special niche and competitive advantage, then the work for which our heart beats will truly be successful and will also allow us to share this success with others.

Let's not think that we are only talking about well-known companies and large businesses here.
This formula works equally well for individuals and businesses, regardless of their size.
Do your job with all your heart, spare no energy, be distinctive and quality-oriented – this is what unites the two small businesses that I took a look behind the scenes of during my visit to Switzerland and was once again convinced of the correctness of all this.

In both cases, we are talking about small businesses, and at the same time, areas where the Swiss market is saturated and it is not easy to establish a place, especially with such success.
To have repeatedly earned the title of best chocolatier in a country famous for its chocolate speaks volumes.

Casa Nobile , a small artisanal chocolate factory, has managed to do just that, earning numerous awards and recognition in Switzerland and beyond, but for the founders and the company's chief chocolatiers, Willy Schmutz and Martin Schwarz, the proudest achievement is the first place they received in the "Best Chocolate" category in their own country, which was deservedly awarded to them by the top-class jury of the Choco Guide.

Casa-Nobile truly deserves the recognition and success that didn't just fall from the sky. We were "guided" into this small enterprise by Martin, co-owner and head chocolatier of Casa Nobile, and in a short time I was convinced that what we were talking about above is really close to the truth.

No exceptions when it comes to quality, only the best!
Here, ambition, love for work, and perfectionism come together, and this is how “chocolate artists” create miracles that transport chocolate lovers to a wonderland. Have you ever tasted homemade chocolate with, for example, hay filling?!

In the second case, I want to tell you about a 3-star hotel, which is located in a seemingly unremarkable village. When I arrived there, I asked myself, "But why would a guest come here?"

The question is more or less justified, because the hotel Hirschen-Erilsbach  It is not really surrounded by attractions, but I got the answer in a short time – the hotel itself is a landmark, with its unique concept and philosophy. It is not just a hotel, it is a real discovery for gourmets and lovers of good wine.

Albi von Felten, the owner and manager of the wine hotel, is a restaurateur, hotelier and host by profession, but it became clear to me within a few minutes of meeting him that this is not just a profession for him. This is his life, to which he and his wife selflessly dedicate their time and energy, do not skimp on creative ideas or selfless work, they themselves feel immense pleasure in all this and truly give the guests who come there the opportunity to enjoy it. The above-mentioned combination is present here too and again leads to a very successful business, which truly occupies a distinguished place among the numerous hotels in Switzerland.
And yet, you've probably wondered what makes this hotel so special, besides the fact that it has a host who is incredibly passionate about his guests and his work.

Hotel Hirschen, although not surrounded by vineyards, will still take you on a journey into the world of wine. Everything here revolves around wine, and in addition to tasting the best wines along with delicious dishes in the ancient wine cellar or at dinner, you can also spend the night in rooms named after different winemakers, surrounded by their stories and wines. Each room in the hotel is named after a specific winemaker, and the furniture, decoration, and various items indirectly tell us about this winemaker. However, from the window of one specific room, we can directly see the vineyard through binoculars that belongs to the “winemaker of this room.”

No room in the hotel is like another, they are all unique, although I would still choose one that looks more like a wine cellar and is called that. It is unusual to sleep between two wine cellars, in which more than forty types of the best wines are kept at the right temperature. Depending on your taste, you can open the door to the white or red wine cellar in your room, choose the desired wine yourself and enjoy it the way Albi von Felten does in his work.

Love your job, put in maximum energy, be different, success will come to you!
