The number of advertisements in our reality is increasing day by day. We encounter advertisements everywhere: on television, in movies, in cinemas, on social networks, on billboards, in face-to-face communication, in print media, etc. Each of them has its own purpose and role, let's discuss them together:

  • Television advertising – this includes intermission advertising, sponsorship of programs, and guest appearances on shows. As you know, television advertising requires a fairly large budget, so it is important to correctly determine who our potential customers are, which programs they watch, and what time of day they are active. The most effective and productive of these are sponsorship of programs and guest appearances on shows. After visiting a program, we can download the video clip and use it for future plans, whether it is posting it on social networks or something else.
  • Event sponsorship – During offline activities, we can sponsor an event of interest to us, where we can display the company logo, banner, products, or run a video clip. Through all of this, we will remind users once again or introduce ourselves.Saba Award.jpg
  • Advertising in movies – This type of advertising can be subtle or very visible to the eye. In both cases, the goal of the advertisement is to remind the consumer of its identity and emphasize its style.
  • Billboards – There are moving and stationary advertisements. A billboard may be placed in a location that is closest to the advertiser. The choice of location depends on the message on the billboard and the purpose of the advertisement. Recently, interactive billboards have been actively used, the main goal of which is to bring the message to the right audience and provoke their involvement.Billboard.jpg
  • The purpose of this interactive banner was to reach a minor, whose height would be max. 135 cm. With the help of this advertisement, the child victim of violence was to receive information on how to call for help. A parent or adult who would scroll through the interactive banner with this child in a specific situation would see a slightly different visual, in the form of a different message, depending on his height.
  • Advertising in face-to-face communication – this is the case when we meet a representative and he introduces us to a particular product/service, offers us, for example, a tasting.
  • Telephone sales – this type of advertising refers to the situation when we receive a call from a company representative who introduces us to the product/service, makes a special offer, and offers us, for example, a gift visit.
  • SMS advertising – when we receive advertising messages on our mobile phones. It is essential that the company sending the message has a designated SMS opt-out feature to prevent spamming the user and to prevent them from being sent unwanted content in the future.
  • Email Marketing – This is also one of the types of advertising that many companies use. They inform their existing or potential audience about their services via email. We may also receive sponsored advertising in our Google email (gmail), which will definitely be placed in the section given in the photo. These are specific Google Ads ads.  gmail.png
  • Print media – magazines, newspapers, flyers, brochures. All of these belong to print media.
  • And the last biggest advertising tool is Online advertising. This includes advertising on all the social networks that we use so actively, such as: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google, Pinterest, YouTube, Tiktok and others. We should also consider web pages for which we can use Google Ads to advertise, we can also make links from various articles, social networks, applications, emails, etc. Each of the advertising methods listed above has its own advantages and disadvantages. The main thing is to know who our customers are, what our goal is, why we want to use this or that advertising, and what results we want to achieve.
