What should you do when an idea pops into your head?!
There are probably only two ways – either you do it or you give up. At the moment when an idea appears, it seems as if your mind lights up and you feel yourself being filled with enthusiasm. A thousand thoughts are swirling around, and if you don't lose this charge, you may soon see ways to implement it. However, these thoughts are often mixed with doubts and we start thinking more about the factors that hinder us – what will happen if it doesn't work out, if we don't like it? We often ask ourselves these questions, and in the end, the mind gives us many reasons and arguments to forget about this idea, because it is unrealistic, useless and "what's the point, it won't work out anyway."
But what happens if it comes out?
Social media is a field where you can boldly give wings to ideas. You never know in advance what will come out. The creators of Facebook themselves say that you should try, check and act on the so-called “testing” principle. The algorithm often changes, and at the same time, people’s interests change, so we must constantly be aware of the situation, try different ways and methods to deliver the desired message to the addressee. If the idea does not work out, it turns out that a large audience has not seen it, because our specific step did not manage to cause a big resonance and, accordingly, there is nothing to worry about. If it works out, it means that we are on the right track. In both cases, this is a unique experience that allows us to study our segment.
In any field, especially when it comes to marketing, taking into account the interests of the audience comes first. We need to know what drives people, what makes them laugh, what worries them, what topics are relevant to them, and most importantly, what problems they want to solve. This is the basis for creating content that is user-oriented. I have been working at the Urban Garden fitness center for 3 years and I try to mix interesting and useful posts with fun ones.
There is often a problem with exercise, which is directly or indirectly related to laziness and taking the first step to start exercising. Therefore, I tried to present the audience with a situation that is familiar to them and used the so-called “Video Meme” for communication. The result exceeded all expectations. The original video has accumulated about half a million views on our page, and has been shared by many people, including famous pages.
For me personally, this was a clear example that sometimes even the craziest or seemingly unrealistic idea should be given a chance and tried. My interest in social media was probably determined by the creative side. I have always liked working on ideas, thinking about them and then planning ways to implement them. I have been working in this field since 2013 and I believe that this is a profession that requires constant updating of knowledge and practice.
Nowadays, everything is changing rapidly, social media is also developing, which has replaced traditional media. One day, while traditionally “scrolling” on Facebook, I came across an interesting post by BPN Georgia, which immediately caught my attention. A 5- day training on studying Facebook advertising was announced. I didn’t think much about it, I made the decision quickly. During the 5 days, I further deepened my knowledge, met interesting people who work in different fields, know their job and do it at a high level. At the same time, they are trying to master digital marketing and use it in their work as much as possible. The organizers of the training welcomed us in a direct and friendly environment, which made gaining knowledge informal and more enjoyable.
Along with the theory, the speaker, Ana, also gave us practical assignments, and gave us the opportunity to make presentations, which is the most important thing for a beginner or an experienced social media manager. She shared her own experience with us, which is one of the justified methods of transferring knowledge, showing us examples of various well-known companies that have gained recognition in the world market. I especially liked the fact that the training was intended for both beginners and experienced people in this field. The 5-day seminar will be the best way to deepen knowledge and improve qualifications. Thanks to Ana and the organizers.

After such interesting meetings, you become much more motivated, gain experience, become confident in your own abilities, and have a desire to understand and do even more. At such times, just like at the moment of the birth of an idea, a charge appears that we should not lose, on the contrary, we should try to awaken, be bolder, and overcome the fear of failure. Unsuccessful steps are an indispensable experience, without which learning and moving towards success are impossible. Social media is a space that we can boldly use as a means of implementing ideas.
